We can check to see if you are at least 6 weeks pregnant, but If we are unable to hear the baby’s heartbeat, then this means you are less than 6 weeks. A rescan will need to be scheduled in order to hear a heartbeat. Instead of charging you full price again, the price for a heartbeat rescan is only $45. The same applies to our gender reveal ultrasound sessions. Moms must be at least 14 weeks pregnant for gender determination. If we are unable to determine gender because the mom is less than 14 weeks, then they will need to be scheduled at 14 weeks. The rescan price is $45 also.
Unfortunately, there are no guarantees. Depending on the baby and several factors, the perfect image will be determined. Those factors are listed below. Our technician will always try to get the best images, but it’s out of our hands. The ultrasound tech will try many things, such as having mom cough, changing scan positions, or having mom empty her bladder if it’s too full, or just some simple stretches. We even have some candy for moms and babies to eat. The Technician will always explain and show you the baby’s positioning so that you can understand why the best images were not able to be obtained. Please understand that we try our very best to obtain the best pictures possible, but it will depend on the factors listed below.
